Ginny was born and raised in Cincinnati. She also attended college in Cincinnati where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism. Since that time, she has spent most of her professional career writing and in full-time positions in news, marketing and media relations with news organizations, in radio and publishing.

In addition to writing and PR, one of her favorite hobbies is photography.
